Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island, Inc.
CRESLI's mission: To promote and foster understanding and stewardship of coastal ecosystems through research and education. CRESLI, founded in the summer of 1996 by a group of experts in marine mammal science, environmental sciences, education and conservation, was formed for the purposes of conducting research, providing educational experiences and promoting conservation of coastal ecosystems. CRESLI's main expertise is in the biology, ecology and status of marine mammals and sea turtles of NY and surrounding areas.

Working Together to Keep Coral Reefs Alive! Protecting coral reefs takes the active cooperation of many different partners - CORAL cannot do it alone. CORAL works in partnership with a wide variety of individuals and organizations around the world that have the resources, skills and opportunities to protect coral reefs, including local communities and organizations because local people often know the best way to protect their own coral reefs and even the best conservation efforts cannot succeed without local support. Many of these people and the businesses that serve them have the incentive and the resources to help protect coral reefs.

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
SEANET
SEANET (The Seabird Ecological Assessment Network) is a collaborative marine ecosystem health monitoring project. Hundreds of volunteers walk streches of beach on the Atlantic coast of the US and Canada monitoring seabird mortality. SEANET is compiling health, population, and related environmental information on seabird populations.
